Based in our Pune, India location, you will support the design, development, validation, and release of compressor components, assemblies, and systems for HVACR applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop innovative and reliable product solutions while supporting new product development, sustaining engineering, and product improvement initiatives. You will apply engineering principles and technical expertise to solve product design challenges and contribute to successful project execution. AS AN ENGINEER II - PRODUCT DESIGN, YOU WILL: Product Design & Development Design and develop compressor components, assemblies, and related mechanical systems from concept through production release. Create and maintain 3D CAD models, engineering drawings, specifications, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and product documentation using Siemens NX. Perform engineering calculations, theoretical analysis, and design evaluations to support product development. Support product validation through testing, analysis, and correlation of test results with design intent. Participate in Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA), Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFM&A), Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VAVE), and Design of Experiments (DOE) activities. Support Engineering Change Notice (ECN) creation, implementation, and release activities. Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Systems Engineering, Testing Laboratories, Supply Chain, and Program Management teams to ensure successful product development and launch. Coordinate prototype builds, testing activities, and engineering investigations. Participate in design reviews and present technical findings and recommendations to project teams and stakeholders. Identify technical risks and support development of mitigation plans. Support root cause investigations and implement corrective actions for product and design-related issues.
