The Engineering Training team provides end-to-end support, governance, and continuous improvement of engineering applications used across Engineering, Manufacturing, and other business functions. Supported applications include PIM, POE, Vision, Atlas, nVision, Tekla, Autodesk products, and other systems critical to building design, detailing, engineering productivity, and manufacturing operations.
The Engineering Applications Governance & Value Analyst serves as the steward of BBNA's engineering application portfolio, ensuring engineering technology investments support business objectives, engineering productivity, design quality, and operational efficiency. This role partners with Engineering, Manufacturing, Enterprise Technology, Procurement, Security, Finance, and software vendors to optimize application performance, licensing, adoption, and business value while supporting the long-term engineering systems strategy.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Manage governance, renewals, licensing, and commercial oversight for engineering applications including Tekla, Autodesk, Vision, PIM, POE, Atlas, nVision, and related engineering systems.
Evaluate application utilization, user adoption, business value, and engineering workflow effectiveness to ensure technology investments support engineering and manufacturing objectives.
Maintain the engineering application portfolio inventory, application ownership records, governance processes, lifecycle planning, and renewal schedules.
Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Application Support teams to identify opportunities for application optimization, process improvement, automation, and standardization.
Coordinate vendor relationships, software roadmaps, service reviews, enhancement requests, and issue resolution activities for engineering applications.
Support business case development, application rationalization reviews, and recommendations for application enhancements, consolidation, replacement, or retirement.
Collaborate with Technology, Security, Procurement, and Engineering stakeholders to ensure applications meet operational, security, compliance, and business requirements.
Qualifications Minimum:
Bachelor’s degree or 4 additional years of business related experience in lieu of degree
2 years of relevant experience
Analysis and troubleshooting experience
Preferred:
Experience with a Service Support Software such as ServiceNow
