Role Summary The Engineering Intern will support Heven AeroTech's engineering team in the design, development, testing, and production of advanced unmanned aerial systems (UAS). This position provides hands-on experience working alongside multidisciplinary engineering teams, contributing to real-world aerospace projects while developing practical engineering skills in a fast-paced technology environment.
Essential Responsibilities
Support engineering projects related to airframe, propulsion, avionics, software, payload integration, and flight operations.
Assist with engineering design, testing, data collection, analysis, and documentation activities.
Participate in prototype assembly, system integration, and hardware testing.
Conduct research and technical evaluations to support product development efforts.
Assist with creating and maintaining engineering drawings, reports, test plans, and technical documentation.
Support ground and flight testing activities under the supervision of engineering personnel.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, quality, and flight operations.
Participate in engineering meetings, design reviews, and project planning discussions.
Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and quality standards.
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience
Required
Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to interpret technical information and apply engineering concepts.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
