What You Will Contribute:
Are you someone who enjoys hands-on testing, troubleshooting, and working with innovative products? We're looking for a detail-oriented Mechanical Lab Technician to join our engineering team and play a critical role in testing, validating, and improving product performance.
In this role, you'll work alongside Design, Manufacturing, and Quality Engineers to support product development through mechanical and hydro testing, data analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute mechanical and performance testing for new and existing products using established test procedures and standards.
Set up, configure, and operate test equipment, fixtures, and instrumentation to support development and validation activities.
Test production components and prototypes to evaluate functionality, reliability, and performance.
Collaborate with Design Engineers and cross-functional teams to investigate product performance and support development projects.
Accurately document test results, observations, and conclusions in technical reports and engineering databases.
Analyze and verify test data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and repeatability.
Interpret technical drawings, schematics, specifications, and test plans.
Utilize precision measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, scales, and microscopes for product inspection and evaluation.
Support calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment and instrumentation.
Identify opportunities to improve testing methods, laboratory equipment, safety practices, and overall lab efficiency.
Assist with preventive maintenance activities and contribute to a safe, organized laboratory environment.
