The fairlife 2027 Summer Internship Program will take place from May 24 through August 10 at the fairlife location specified in this job description. job purpose : The Engineering Utilities Intern will be a part of the maintenance and engineering team within fairlife, LLC. This individual will actively work with the engineering team to improve the existing and incoming utilities structures for plant optimization. They will focus on direct observations, time studies and standardization of processes/procedures to help make improvements. skills/qualifications required: Must be currently enrolled in a four-year undergraduate degree program, entering the Fall semester, post internship, as a senior. Preferred focus on Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering Cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0, or higher Strong communication skills Ability to handle ambiguity and work in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment Proficiency in English: Comfortable with both written and verbal communication, including reading and writing. learning objectives: Project management Operational process flow Read, interpret, and design process system drawings Utility mapping, audits, and optimization Improvement project execution Analysis and prioritization of projects Reporting and analysis of production data working conditions and physical requirements: 8 hours sitting/standing/walking/climbing stairs Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
