Build the systems that keep a global science company running.
Restek makes the chromatography columns, standards, and supplies that labs around the world rely on for accurate results. Behind every order, shipment, and product is our ERP, IFS Cloud. We're looking for an engineer who can make it work harder, connect it to the rest of our technology, and keep it reliable as we grow.
This isn't a configure-only admin role. You'll write code when the platform falls short. You'll also know when a clean configuration is the smarter choice, and you'll help set the standards that keep our platform maintainable for years.
And because Restek is 100% employee-owned, the systems you build directly support a company you share in.
What you'll do
Build and extend IFS Cloud
Design and develop customizations, workflows, business rules, and reports, using native tools first and custom code (SQL/PL-SQL and IFS tooling) where they aren't enough
Turn business processes into well-designed platform logic, working directly with stakeholders to gather requirements and write the technical specs
Connect our systems
Build and maintain integrations between IFS Cloud and our CRM and other business platforms using APIs, middleware, and custom connectors
Lead upgrades and releases
Plan and run IFS Cloud version upgrades and patch cycles, including testing, coordination, and stakeholder communication
Manage environments and promote changes through Dev → Test → Prod
Own service delivery and support
Own the IT service delivery process for IFS Cloud, from intake and triage through prioritization and resolution
Provide tier 2/3 support, diagnose root causes, and partner with IFS when issues need vendor escalation
Set the standard
Shape governance, templates, and best practices for both configuration and development
Evaluate new platform features and recommend the right approach based on complexity, performance, and long-term maintainability
Write documentation that technical and non-technical colleagues alike can follow
What you'll bring

Additional Skills and Abilities include:
Strong SQL/PL-SQL skills and experience with IFS tools such as Lifecycle Experience, Events, and Connect
Experience building integrations between IFS and other enterprise systems
A lead role in at least one ERP upgrade or major release cycle
Experience running or significantly contributing to an IT service delivery process
