Synergy’s American headquarters is located in Wauconda, Illinois with additional operations in Hamilton, Ohio; and Chicago. Additionally, we have operations in the UK, Ireland and Thailand.
The Warehouse Operator p erforms a variety of shipping and receiving tasks. Verifies materials received are as ordered and routes incoming items to appropriate locations. Prepares items for shipment ensuring proper documents are attached to shipments.
Duties and Responsibilities
Prepares customer orders for shipments.
Checks items to be shipped against work orders to ascertain that quantities, destination, and routing are correct.
Receives and unloads incoming materials and compares information on packing slip with purchase order to verify accuracy of shipment; may process return shipments from suppliers.
Monitors all aspects of the unloading and loading of bulk resources, finished goods and waste materials. Ensure all safety, environmental, and quality requirements are met.
Process packages via UPS Worldship and FedEx Ship Manager.
Inspects shipments for damages or defects; records discrepancies or damages and notifies supervisor purchasing and quality control personnel.
May be Department of Transportation’s Hazardous Materials Regulations (49CFR, Parts 171-180) Certified.
May operate dolly, pallet jack, and/or forklift in loading and unloading supplies and equipment; may operate shrink-wrap machine.
Follows established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety, environmental, and/or infection control standards.
