As our organization continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced Estimator to support our expanding portfolio of civil construction projects. This role plays a critical part in ensuring bids, proposals, and cost estimates are prepared accurately, competitively, and in alignment with client expectations.

About the Role
The Estimator is responsible for researching, preparing, and coordinating complete cost estimates for assigned civil construction projects. Reporting to the Estimating Manager, this role analyzes specifications, drawings, RFPs, addendums, and other documentation to prepare competitive estimates and detailed proposals that support profitable, sustainable work.
This position requires a proactive, detail-oriented, and solutions-driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced bidding environment. Tender requirements, deadlines, and priorities may shift based on operational needs, requiring strong adaptability and decision-making skills.
The Estimator also contributes to improving estimating processes, submission quality, cost tracking, and overall bid performance across the organization.
Who You Are
You are a results-driven construction professional with strong estimating experience in civil construction environments. You understand the complexities of reviewing drawings, preparing detailed take-offs, coordinating subcontractor pricing, and assembling competitive bids.
You are confident analyzing project documentation, interpreting specifications, and identifying cost, schedule, and constructability risks before they impact bid accuracy. You bring a strong understanding of civil construction methods, cost structures, and tendering processes, along with a commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
You are highly organized, adaptable, and capable of managing competing priorities in a deadline-driven estimating environment.
Key Responsibilities
Complete tender submissions using appropriate crews, production rates, and material/subcontractor pricing reflective of project type and complexity
Prepare all supplemental bid documents, including execution plans, schedules, bonds, qualifications, and charge-out rates
