Executive - Utility Maintenance

Operate control panels and automated systems to regulate the flow and pressure of water, gas, or electricity through distribution lines. Conduct standardized laboratory tests on samples, such as water quality checks, to ensure compliance with health and environmental standards. Adjust chemical dosages and pumping rates in treatment facilities based on readings from meters, gauges, and control system data. Maintain detailed logs and records of all operational activities, equipment performance, and maintenance tasks performed during a shift. Perform fabrication and repair of piping, valves, and other mechanical systems to keep treatment and distribution facilities operational. Operate heavy machinery, such as loaders and vacuum trucks, to assist in the maintenance and repair of utility infrastructure. Respond to emergency situations, like line breaks or equipment failures, to minimize service disruptions and execute necessary repairs. Perform grounds maintenance activities, including mowing and painting.
