This role is for one of Weekday’s clients Salary range: Rs 300000 - Rs 1500000 (ie INR 3 - 15 LPA) Min Experience: 3+ years Location: Kolkata, West Bengal, India JobType: full-time .We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Business Development Manager – Export Sales to drive international growth for NIPHA Farm Solutions across assigned global markets. The role focuses on building a strong pipeline of distributors, dealers, and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) for the complete OneHorn range of agricultural machinery. The ideal candidate will have experience in international sales, market research, lead generation, and relationship building. This position requires a commercially driven professional who can identify new market opportunities, initiate conversations with potential partners, and establish long-term business relationships. The primary mandate is to generate qualified leads and develop market presence, while order execution, export documentation, shipping, letters of credit (LC), and after-sales activities are managed by dedicated internal teams. Requirements Key Responsibilities 1. International Business Development Identify and develop new business opportunities across assigned international markets for the OneHorn range of agricultural machinery. Build a robust pipeline of potential distributors, dealers, importers, and OEM partners. Research target countries, agricultural equipment markets, competitor offerings, and distribution networks to identify growth opportunities. Develop market-entry strategies and prioritize high-potential regions and prospective customers. 2. Lead Generation and Prospecting Conduct desk research, database mining, and online prospecting to identify qualified international leads. Execute proactive outreach through email, phone calls, professional networking platforms, and other relevant channels. Qualify prospects based on market presence, distribution capabilities, product fit, and business potential. Maintain accurate prospect information and track lead-generation activities, engagement, and pipeline progress. 3. Distributor and OEM Relationship Management Initiate and nurture relationships with international distributors, dealers, and OEMs. Understand prospective partners' business requirements and communicate relevant product value propositions. Conduct virtual meetings, product presentations, and commercial discussions to advance opportunities. Build a network of reliable channel partners to strengthen the company's international market presence. 4. Trade Shows and Market Engagement Represent the business at relevant international agricultural exhibitions, trade fairs, and industry events. Identify prospective customers, generate leads, and schedule meetings with potential business partners.
