The salary range reflects the company’s base pay across Canada. Actual salary depends on factors including but not limited to location, skills, experience, education, and internal peer compensation comparisons. Your Responsibilities As a  Facilities Coordinator for John Deere Canada ULC located in Grimsby, ON, you will: Prioritize and schedule maintenance tasks on new or existing equipment with suppliers, to ensure the smooth operation of the facility  Perform a range of facilities management activities that optimize day-to-day operations, support internal stakeholders and meet established cost targets for the facility Communicate by preparing routine letters, emails, minutes of meetings and reports for review by senior managers, and prepare proposals for contractors and suppliers Analyze failure modes and implement reliability strategies that improve equipment operation and reduce cost What Skills You Need All skills below would ideally have 2-3 years of prior experience: Ability to plan, organize and track using a range of software, including MS Office and databases Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders and understanding the needs of the site Managing complex and sometimes high quantity work to effectively solve problems Understanding and creating / modifying technical drawings, including blueprints and equipment design Taking action on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency Look to optimize current practices with a focus on continuous improvement What Makes You Stand Out Experience in building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing and roofing systems Ability to create or modify a database with a focus on improving reliability and/or reducing cost Experience in SAP - PO creation Proficient in AutoCAD Architectural design (mainly 2D layout) Six sigma yellow belt or higher Education Post-secondary education in a technical discipline or equivalent experience in facilities coordination In accordance with the…
