The Opportunity
It is the responsibility of the Licensing Support Specialist to assist with the administration and continued development of BetMGM’s licensing program. The position will interact with employees from various departments to ensure the company is fully compliant with regulatory licensing obligations.
Location: Jersey City, New Jersey Responsibilities
Monitor, maintain, and continually develop occupational and vendor license tracking program
Assist with various aspects of occupational licensing process: completion and submission of application forms, updates to information, renewals etc.
Coordinate employee licensing procedure for BetMGM launch in new and existing states
Review licensing and reporting requirements in controls and regulations
Responsible for administrative tasks such as coordinating fingerprinting appointments, submitting various forms of license applications and tracking schedule of fees due to regulatory bodies
Maintain confidential company and personal data
Other job-related duties as requested
Essential Functions
Must be able to stand or sit and operate computers and other technological devices for extended periods of time
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience
Ability to work in a fast-paced and stressful environment, maintaining a proper mental attitude to deal effectively with management, employees, regulatory agencies and professional advisors
Excellent customer service skills
Interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts
Highly organized with superior attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Paralegal or legal assistance experience is a plus
