Facilities Manager About the Role Our client is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee a portfolio of commercial and industrial properties. The successful candidate will be responsible for facilities management, contractor and SLA management, tenant relations, maintenance planning, compliance, and leading a team to ensure the efficient day-to-day operation of the property portfolio. Key Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of commercial and industrial properties. Lead and support the Facilities Coordinators. Manage contracts, lease agreements, and service level agreements (SLAs). Oversee contractors and ensure agreed KPIs and service standards are achieved. Ensure planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance are completed within required turnaround times. Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks on maintenance work. Monitor compliance with lease agreements and report any deviations. Manage tenant relationships, respond to queries and complaints, and conduct regular tenant meetings. Prepare monthly management reports and ensure utility meter readings are submitted on time. Report utility faults, tampering, and disconnection notices. Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, health and safety requirements, and company policies. Identify and mitigate operational risks while maintaining high service standards. Requirements Relevant qualification in Facilities Management, Property Management, Engineering, Building Management, or a related field. 5+ years' experience in facilities or property management, preferably within commercial or industrial properties. Proven experience managing contractors, maintenance programmes, service providers, and SLAs. Strong knowledge of building maintenance, lease agreements, and statutory compliance. Excellent leadership, communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office and property/facilities management systems. Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel between sites.
