Job Description Summary:
Responsible to prepare and deliver Advanced Manufacturing coursework in engaging, innovative, and discipline-appropriate ways that reflect a commitment to student success and creating an environment that promotes belonging for all.
Job Description:
The Advanced Manufacturing Technology Department offers on campus, online, and dual credit courses across Central Texas. The department is currently initiating a course revitalization process to update its approach to manufacturing through the use of new state of the art equipment. Advanced Manufacturing partners with many local manufacturing companies to support their employment pipeline. In addition, the college has added a manufacturing prototype center (IMPACT lab) to assist emerging companies develop new products
Principal Responsibilities and Duties
Prepare and teach courses in the field of Advanced Manufacturing to a multicultural student population based on the department's approved course learning outcomes, utilizing a variety of instructional strategies appropriate to the needs of community college students and the standards of the discipline.
