Join our team and start your journey today!   Simulation Engineer If you are an ENGINEERING professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Copeland has an exciting opportunity for you!  As a Modeling & Simulation Engineer, you will work collaboratively with a global multi-disciplinary engineering team to develop, validate, and standardize 1D/2D/3D HVACR system, sub-system simulation models using model-based engineering tools and methodologies. You will also demonstrate ability to diligently track and manage progress of the work by facilitating open dialog with a wide variety of stakeholders. As a Simulation Engineer, you will: Execute simulation-driven product development through advanced FEA/multi-physics methodologies, model validation, automation, and optimization techniques, enabling improved product performance, reduced physical testing, and accelerated time-to-market. Execute development & implementation of simulation models to aid design of HVACR systems, sub-systems, components using industry leading simulation tools. Develop, execute, and interpret high-fidelity FEA simulations of compressor components and assemblies. Provide data-driven recommendations to Product Engineering regarding design performance, Strength behavior, manufacturability, reliability, and cost-reduction opportunities. Execute activities to verify and validate (V&V) simulation models. This will require partnering with global subject matter experts, creating test plans, and/or leveraging available test data by working with other engineering teams. Effectively communicate project status to various stakeholders in the organization by preparing presentation of results. Required Education, Experience, & Skills : Master’s degree in Mechanical/Aerospace/Civil Engineering or closely related field, plus a minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
