THE OPPORTUNITY
As the Field Facilities Technician, you will provide support to an assigned region of restaurants through Preventative Maintenance, Site Assessments and reactionary repairs helping deliver an environment of World Class Food Safety and an Excellent Guest Experience.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Perform Preventative Maintenance Site Assessments at each assigned restaurant every quarter
Complete reactionary service calls in a timely cost-effective manner
Partner with local and national vendors to ensure work completed is on par with Chipotle' standards
Conduct sub-regional Ownership classes promoting confidence and increasing knowledge with equipment and facility upkeep.
Collaborate with sub-regional leadership team to have unify purpose and vision inside our locations
Manage direct M&R budget of assigned restaurants
Work directly with AFM/FM to identify capital improvement needs. Get quotes for such items and after installation validate quality and workmanship
Source, organize and maintain individual truck stock for needed repairs
Manage Work Order requests to ensure all items are entered and closed out correctly, give Work Order training to restaurants when needed.
Partner with Facility Support Team to ensure requests are assigned and completed in efficient manner
Meet all administrative deadlines when it comes to mileage, Pcards, Inventories, and Tru-ups.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TABLE
High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) credential required.
Minimum of one year of experience in commercial or residential facilities maintenance, service, or a skilled trade environment.
Possess a strong trade knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical, commercial cooking equipment, appliance repair and basic HVAC/refrigeration
Working knowledge of electrical troubleshooting and basic plumbing repairs.
Ability to perform routine HVAC maintenance, including replacing belts and filters and cleaning coils.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Knowledge of workplace safety practices, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and lockout/tagout procedures.
Experience using a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Working at Heights, Fall Protection, and Ladder Safety certification preferred; willingness to obtain required certifications is acceptable.
Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driver’s abstract required.
