About Role
We are looking for a hands-on Field Operations Manager to build, launch, and run operations across multiple locations. You will own site partnerships, new location launches, and the recruitment and management of field Operators and supervisors.
The ideal candidate has independently managed city, regional, or state operations and knows how to build teams, establish local relationships, and solve problems on the ground. This role involves frequent travel and significant time at operational sites.
Key Responsibilities
Own field operations: Take end-to-end responsibility for execution across sites, including staffing, logistics, operating budgets, and delivery against targets.
Open and manage partnerships: Identify potential site partners, negotiate operating arrangements, secure access, and build lasting relationships with site owners and local stakeholders.
Launch new locations: Lead site assessment, operational setup, Operator deployment, and launch execution. Establish a reliable daily operating rhythm at each location.
Build and lead Operator teams: Recruit, onboard, train, and manage field Operators and supervisors. Own workforce planning, shift allocation, attendance, productivity, and retention.
Lead from the field: Visit sites regularly, work alongside teams, and resolve staffing shortages, partner concerns, access issues, and logistical bottlenecks.
Manage resources and costs: Plan manpower, equipment, travel, and local vendor support to meet commitments within budget.
Scale execution: Establish practical operating procedures, clear ownership, and escalation mechanisms that enable expansion across cities and states.
Take accountability for outcomes: Anticipate operational risks, make decisions independently, and drive issues to closure.
What We’re Looking For
5–12 years of relevant experience in field operations, city operations, regional operations, last-mile delivery, logistics, mobility, e-commerce, or quick commerce.
Proven ownership of operations across multiple sites, ideally at a city, regional, or state level.
Demonstrated experience building and managing sizeable teams of field Operators and supervisors.
A track record of launching locations, developing local partnerships, and handling execution personally.
