You will develop the ability to communicate with customers and have a direct hand in changing and improving the equipment we manufacture. Summary of Responsibility: The Field Service Technician will develop an understanding of electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems. You will learn the basics of the business and be responsible for installing and troubleshooting our equipment. The Service Engineer will communicate directly with customers to gather data directly from the field to continuously improve our products and our customers’ experience. What You Will Contribute: This position requires frequent travel both local and national Install and commission equipment in the field Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems Create product improvements based on customer feedback Assemble to prints and bill of materials Providing live technical support via phone and email Perform root cause analysis on failures in the field Coordinate with the engineering team to constantly improve products and installation processes Other Functions: Perform related duties as required The duties listed above are intended only as illustration of the various types of work that may be performed.
