Finance Manager Job Description (Full-time)
The Role
This is a genuine number-two-in-finance role: you'll be the CFO's right hand in a lean three-person team, owning the month-end close and management accounts, running the audit, and collaborating closely with our Senior Bookkeeper. • Balance Sheet Control : Own balance sheet integrity, including monthly reviews of all control accounts, the fixed asset register, and intercompany balances and recharges across group entities.
• Revenue Recognition Oversight : Own revenue recognition across the group in line with FRS 102 .
• Budgeting & Forecasting : Support the annual budget process and produce variance analysis and commentary against budget for the monthly pack.
• Statutory Audit : Orchestrate statutory audits, act as day-to-day contact for our external accountants and auditors .
• Statutory Reporting : Oversight of local reporting requirements, VAT and GST filings and the preparation of financial statements.
• Tax Compliance : Coordinate corporation tax computations and filings with our advisers, and support any R&D or other claims.
• Regulatory Reporting & Capital : Assist the CFO with regulatory reporting and returns for an FCA-authorised e-money institution , including monitoring of…
