About the Role Our client is a global technology and engineering organization headquartered in Singapore, delivering  advanced digital, engineering, and mission-critical solutions to enterprises and governments worldwide. With  operations in 50+ cities globally, the company is actively investing in enterprise AI, automation, and  intelligent digital platforms to transform large-scale operations and business workflows. As part of its continued business expansion, the company is seeking an experienced Financial Reporting  Lead/ Manager to join its Regional Finance team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The successful  candidate will play a key role in financial reporting, general accounting, fixed assets management, budgeting,  and team leadership while working closely with stakeholders across different countries. Key Responsibilities As the Financial Reporting Lead/ Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and  timeliness of financial reporting while overseeing accounting operations and supporting regional finance  activities. 1. Financial Reporting & General Accounting Lead month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting. Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, prepayments, depreciation, intercompany transactions, and balance sheet reconciliations. Prepare monthly financial reports, trial balances, management schedules, and financial statement analysis. Support group consolidation reporting and ensure compliance with accounting standards and corporate policies. 2. Fixed Assets Management Oversee the fixed asset lifecycle, including asset capitalization, transfers, disposals, depreciation, and physical asset verification. Manage Right-of-Use (ROU) assets and lease accounting. Monitor capital expenditure against approved budgets and generate fixed asset reports. 3. Planning & Management Accounting Support cost accounting, project costing, budgeting, and forecasting activities. Prepare forecasting templates and maintain financial planning data. Manage provisions including inventory obsolescence, warranty, doubtful debts, and other accounting estimates. 4. Audit & Stakeholder Management Act as the key finance contact for both internal and external auditors. Collaborate with regional finance teams and business stakeholders to resolve accounting issues and improve financial processes. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reporting efficiency and controls. 5. Team Leadership Lead and mentor a finance team, ensuring high-quality deliverables and professional development. Allocate workload, review outputs, and support team performance. Key Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. Professional accounting qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, CA, or equivalent are highly preferred.
