Job description, responsibilities and duties
• Assist the Plant Controller in all aspects of corporate and internal reporting to ensure adherence to timetables, financial integrity and completeness. • As with all roles within the Finance department, the role will involve financial control testing to ensure SOX compliance. • Assist in budget and short-term forecast preparation, profit and loss, cashflow and balance sheet. • Management of key KPIs including Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable aging. • SOX Testing Reviews and presentation to the Financial Manager. • Balance Sheet Reconciliation Reviews. • Calculation and accounting for reserves • Management and completion of month-end processes including variance analysis. • Working closely with external auditors for year end and interim audit work. • Assist with special finance projects and automations
Personality requirements and skills
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Financial controlling. • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment; automotive industry experience is highly preferred. • Proven experience with: Financial reporting and analysis, Budgeting and forecasting, Month-end and year-end closing activities, Balance sheet reconciliations, Cost accounting and inventory accounting, Cash flow management • Experience with external and internal audits. • Hands-on experience with SOX compliance or internal controls.
