Position Overview
The Forecasting & Scheduling Executive supports the Business Development team by managing project schedules, maintaining forecasting data, and coordinating timelines for solar project development. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional looking to build a career in renewable energy project management and business operations.
Key Responsibilities
Forecasting Support
Assist in preparing weekly and monthly demand forecasts for solar project pipeline
Collect and compile data on project leads, proposals, and conversion rates
Maintain forecasting templates and update projections based on actual performance
Track forecast accuracy and highlight variances to senior team members
Scheduling & Coordination
Prepare and maintain project schedules using MS Project or similar tools
Coordinate with internal teams to gather updates on project milestones
Schedule meetings and follow-ups with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders
Maintain master calendar for BD activities and project deadlines
Data Management & Reporting
Update and maintain project tracking sheets and CRM databases
Prepare daily/weekly status reports on project progress and pipeline health
Create dashboards and presentations for management review
Organize and archive project documentation systematically
Administrative Support
Assist in preparing proposals, bids, and tender submissions
Coordinate site visits and client meetings logistics
Support resource planning by tracking team availability and workload
Qualifications & Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
Diploma holders with relevant experience may also apply
Experience
1 – 3 years of experience in scheduling, planning, or coordination roles
Experience in solar, construction, EPC, or infrastructure sectors preferred
Fresh graduates with strong analytical skills and internship experience may be considered
Technical Skills
Strong proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, formulas, charts)
Working knowledge of MS Project, Primavera, or similar scheduling software
Familiarity with CRM/ERP systems is a plus
Basic understanding of data analysis and reporting tools
