The Opportunity The Forklift Operator and Inventory Specialist is responsible for safely operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment while maintaining accurate inventory records. This role supports efficient warehouse operations by handling materials, tracking stock levels, and ensuring proper storage and distribution of goods.
What You'll Own
Safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment to move, load, unload, and stack goods
Maintain accurate inventory records using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
Conduct cycle counts and assist with full physical inventory audits
Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy, quality, and damage
Organize and store inventory in designated warehouse locations efficiently
Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment
Report discrepancies, shortages, damages, and equipment maintenance needs to management
Skills & Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
Proven experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, or logistics
Basic computer skills with familiarity in inventory systems (e.g., Shiphero preferred)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs)
Good communication and teamwork skills
Knowledge of safety regulations (OSHA standards preferred) and experience in shipping/receiving or distribution centers is a plus
Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with physical demands, including standing, lifting, and operating heavy machinery

Compensation
We use a market-based approach to compensation. The expected total compensation range for this role is: USD 18 per hour.
