FREELANCE POLY MODELER (M/F/D)

BE PART OF THE TEAM studiokurbos is an owner-managed, independent design studio with locations in Stuttgart and Shanghai. For our CAS team, we are looking for experienced freelance Poly Modelers who can turn creative design concepts into highly precise 3D models and independently deliver complex projects to a high standard. The position is offered on a freelance, project-based basis. We are available to start immediately, with the scope and duration of each engagement tailored to the specific project requirements. YOUR MISSION Independently create concept and poly models based on creative and technical requirements Develop and optimize low- and high-poly models to the highest quality standards Model exterior, interior, and add-on components Prepare models for photorealistic visualizations Work closely with designers, engineers, and other project stakeholders to ensure the highest quality standards YOUR PROFILE Excellent knowledge of Autodesk Maya, Autodesk Alias Subdivision, or Blender Extensive experience working with complex 3D models and optimizing modeling workflows At least 3 years of professional experience in poly modeling, ideally within automotive or high-end product design Strong ability to translate 2D sketches into high-quality, precise 3D models Excellent sense of design, surfaces, form, aesthetics, and detail Independent, structured way of working combined with a strong team-oriented mindset Very good command of both German and English, written and spoken Willingness to work on a freelance, project-based basis WE OFFER Challenging and diverse projects in automotive and product design The opportunity to work on innovative 3D, design, and digital projects at the highest level Fair and transparent freelance compensation Collaboration within an experienced, interdisciplinary team Flexible, project-based collaboration Prospect of further projects based on successful collaboration
