That’s Ontinue.  Role Overview As a Back-End Engineer at Ontinue, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining the services, APIs, and data platforms that power the ION MXDR platform. You will work closely with front-end engineers, product managers, security experts, and data engineers to build scalable, resilient, and secure cloud-native systems that support real-time security operations and customer-facing capabilities. The ideal candidate is passionate about building highly available distributed systems, enjoys solving complex technical challenges, and thrives in a fast-paced environment focused on cybersecurity innovation. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance back-end services for the ION MXDR platform. Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices that support platform functionality, integrations, and customer experiences. Develop and optimize data processing pipelines for security telemetry, threat intelligence, and operational analytics. Collaborate with front-end engineers to deliver reliable end-to-end platform capabilities. Design and implement cloud-native architectures leveraging Azure services and modern engineering practices. Ensure system reliability, observability, and performance through monitoring, logging, tracing, and automated alerting. Optimize database schemas, queries, and storage strategies to support large-scale security data workloads. Implement secure coding practices and contribute to platform security, compliance, and resilience initiatives. Participate in architecture discussions, technical design reviews, and code reviews.
