This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and driving the execution of Functional Safety activities in compliance with ISO 26262 throughout the product lifecycle. The Functional Safety Lead Engineer serves as a Functional Safety subject matter expert, providing technical leadership for safety work products, resolving program roadblocks, supporting cross-functional implementation of safety requirements, and partnering with program teams to ensure timely delivery of Functional Safety deliverables. The role also supports continuous improvement initiatives, global Functional Safety alignment efforts, and safety case development.
