What Is the Opportunity?
As a member of RBC's FX Execution & Digital Sales team, you'll sit at the intersection of technology and markets — driving revenue growth by helping commercial clients transact FX seamlessly through RBC's electronic channels. Your focus will be on optimizing spot and flow execution, championing digital adoption, and delivering data-driven insights that keep clients coming back. This is a front-office role where innovation, speed, and client service matter equally.
What You'll Do
Client Coverage & Revenue Growth
• Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of commercial FX clients executing spot and flow business through RBC's electronic platforms (RBC DX, ECNs, Express, Edge).
• Build and deepen client relationships through proactive outreach, regular market updates, and responsive day-to-day support.
• Monitor and manage client margin profiles, leveraging data-driven insights to optimize revenue, ensure competitive pricing, and identify growth opportunities.
• Provide market commentary, insights, and forecasts to support client decision-making and strengthen RBC's advisory value.
• Promote digital adoption — guide clients to transact efficiently and independently on RBC's platforms, maximizing the value of our electronic offering.
Collaboration & Cross-Referral
• Coordinate with FX specialists in Business Financial Services (BFS) to develop new client relationships, aligning FX solutions with broader banking needs.
• Identify clients with more structured hedging requirements and refer them to the FX Risk Solutions Advisory team, ensuring seamless hand-offs.
• Partner with Commercial Banking, Trading, and other Sales desks to deliver a "One RBC" experience and capture cross-sell opportunities.
• Provide feedback from the covered client segment to inform product development, platform enhancements, and strategy refinements.
Operational Excellence & Compliance
• Conduct rigorous client assessments and credit checks; communicate FX market dynamics clearly to manage risk.
• Adhere to all organizational policies, legal regulations, and compliance standards.
• Proactively identify and escalate operational risks or control deficiencies.
• Promote a culture of efficiency and continuous improvement to maximize team output and client satisfaction.
