Role Overview
As Global Process Specialist Indirect Procurement, you play a key role in shaping and optimizing Hero's global Source-to-Pay landscape. You act as the bridge between Procurement, Shared Service Centers, Group IT, and business stakeholders to ensure standardized, efficient, and scalable procurement processes across the Hero Group.
You will drive process harmonization, support digital transformation initiatives, and serve as the subject matter expert for indirect procurement processes and systems. Through close collaboration with global teams, you help deliver sustainable improvements that enhance both user experience and business performance.
What You'll Achieve
Global Process Governance
Support the governance, standardization, and continuous improvement of indirect procurement processes across the Hero Group.
Ensure alignment of global processes with business requirements, compliance standards, and procurement best practices.
Process Optimization & Digitalization
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, transparency, and automation within Source-to-Pay processes.
Drive process harmonization and support the implementation of new tools, functionalities, and system enhancements.
Systems & Solutions Expertise
Act as key process expert for SAP S/4HANA Procurement and related procurement solutions.
Support business requirements gathering, solution design, testing activities, and system rollouts.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Work closely with Procurement, Finance, Shared Service Centers, IT teams, and local key users across international markets.
Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and knowledge sharing to ensure process adoption and user readiness.
Continuous Improvement & Performance Management
Monitor process performance and identify opportunities for optimization and innovation.
Contribute to business cases, process documentation, and governance frameworks that enable long-term value creation.
Who You Are
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Information Systems, or a related field.
Several years of experience in procurement, business process management, or related functions.
Strong understanding of Source-to-Pay (S2P) and Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) processes.
Hands-on experience working with SAP S/4HANA Procurement environments.
