Grinding Operator - 1st Shift

As a partner to all of the major automobile manufacturers, as well as key players in the aerospace and industrial sectors, we offer you many development opportunities.   Your Key Responsibilities Prepare machines for the production program, by tooling and parametrization according to work order Perform operations while controlling machine/production processes Check production status within and in between each production sequence and take action in case of deviations Check finished parts/component, perform specific checks or functionality tests Support maintenance in regular inspections and repair measures Your Qualifications Required High school diploma or GED equivalent   Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and write clear communication in English   Ability to operate medium complex machinery in a manufacturing environment   Good visual acuity   Ability to lift medium-heavy objects if required   Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship   Preferred    Minimum of one (1) year of experience of operating machines in a manufacturing environment   Experience working with power tools   Ability to read Blueprints   Our Offering Salary Range: $21.20 - $23.85 Hiring Bonus: $1,500 paid out in steps Medical, dental and vision insurance Life insurance and 401k eligible with up to 6% company match Please see all our benefits offerings at  Schaeffler Benefits   As a global company with employees around the world, it is important to us that we treat each other with respect and value all ideas and perspectives.
