In this role you will:
Lead actuarial pricing for a large and growing industry fund, supporting sustainable member outcomes.
Deliver insurance reviews, profitability analysis and pricing insights that strengthen client decisions.
Shape competitive rerate, tender and new business pricing for industry funds and master trusts.
Ensure pricing recommendations meet regulatory, governance and delegated authority requirements.
Enhance pricing and experience models to improve analytical quality, efficiency and data integrity.
Develop pricing talent through expert review, coaching and knowledge sharing.
A tertiary qualification in actuarial science, mathematics, business or a related field, together with Fellowship of the Institute of Actuaries.
Two to three years + experience in life insurance post professional qualification, with exposure to group risk pricing or valuation highly regarded.
Strong analytical, research and modelling capability, with a practical approach to solving complex problems.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and confidence working with large data sets for statistical analysis.
Clear communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical insights to varied audiences.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines effectively.
