Responsibilities
MaxLinear is seeking a Senior Digital Verification Engineer to join our Analog Mixed‑Signal (AMS) group. The AMS team develops a diverse portfolio of integrated circuits spanning Interface products, including serial transceivers, bridges, isolators, USB‑to‑UART, USB‑to‑Ethernet, and PCIe‑to‑UART controllers, as well as Power Management solutions such as PMICs, point‑of‑load (PoL) converters, and power management controllers. These products enable robust, high‑reliability communication and efficient system power architectures across industrial control, networking, and broad multi‑market applications. In this role, you will:
Support development and execution of digital verification plans for AMS products, blocks, and subsystems
Contribute to first‑silicon success through robust verification methodology, functional coverage, regression quality, and close collaboration with design, systems, and validation teams
Create and maintain verification components such as scoreboards, agents, sequencers, monitors, checkers/assertions and coverage models
Debug RTL and gate‑level simulations, analyze failures, and work with design engineers to verify fixes
Support conversion of verification tests to test patterns and assist Test Engineers with ATE vector bring‑up
Qualifications

Experience building block and subsystem verification environments using SystemVerilog, UVM, constrained random techniques, assertions, and functional coverage
Hands‑on experience verifying digital blocks, clusters, or full‑chip ASIC designs, preferably including SOCs with embedded CPUs, serial interfaces, bus fabrics, or mixed‑signal interfaces
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Exposure to power management and/or serial interface systems such as USB controllers, USB‑UART, USB‑Ethernet, GPIO expanders, AXI bus, and embedded microcontroller‑based designs is a plus
Passion for learning and engineering great solutions
Proven written and verbal communication skills that demonstrate clarity of thought and conviction
Good to have: exposure to Verilog-A and/or Verilog-AMS modeling for mixed-signal verification and behavioral model development
Working knowledge of one or more scripting languages (Perl, Python) and ability to use them to automate/accelerate verification and analysis tasks
