Job Title: HR Advisor Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 36.25 hours per week Salary: up to £40,000 and up to 20% bonus and benefits Location: Hybrid working based at our Blackpool office (FY4 2FB), with 2–3 days per week in the office, including Wednesdays and Thursdays or hybrid working from our Cardiff office

The HR Advisor is responsible for providing professional and effective advice to the Bank’s employees in line with current employment legislation, regulatory guidelines, company policy and best practice.
The post holder will collaborate closely with managers to address HR queries, manage employee relations, and foster a positive working environment.
The HR advisor will support the wider HR team to deliver key initiatives to improve the overall development and wellbeing of employees. Your Impact: Building a sustainable tomorrow
As a HR Advisor at Tandem your focus will be on:
Provide the business with professional advice which is legally compliant and in line with Tandem’s brand. Key areas of advice may include; absence management, misconduct, gross misconduct, performance, FCA conduct rules, restructures, conflict resolution (This list is not exhaustive).
Review existing HR policies, templates, and documentation, creating a single source of truth and streamlining a central portfolio of clear, consistent, and readily accessible documents.
Regularly meet with team leaders and managers to understand the People challenges in their area, highlighting risks & issues and agreeing improvement actions; escalate relevant issues to line manager when relevant.
