POSITION SUMMARY
CarParts.com is looking for a detail-oriented and people-first HR Generalist to join our Human Resources team in Long Beach. This role serves as a hands-on partner to employees and leaders across all departments, supporting the full employee lifecycle - from onboarding through engagement and day-to-day HR operations. The ideal candidate brings strong organizational skills, a collaborative spirit, and genuine enthusiasm for building a great workplace culture. We move fast, and we expect our HR team to move with us. This role is for someone who takes ownership of their work, follows through without being asked, and thrives in a dynamic environment where priorities can shift quickly.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Onboarding & New Hire Experience
Coordinate and facilitate new hire onboarding, including orientation scheduling, offer documentation, and systems setup.
Partner with hiring managers to ensure a seamless and welcoming Day 1 experience for all incoming employees.
Maintain and continuously improve onboarding materials, checklists, and workflows.
Employee Engagement & Culture
Support the design and execution of employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and culture-building activities.
