Human Services

We are building a candidate pool of qualified Human Services professionals in and around the Tallahassee, Florida area to support potential disaster response and recovery operations for Hurricane Isaias. Opportunities may support disaster-affected individuals and communities through sheltering, case management, survivor assistance, resource coordination, and other human services activities. Specific positions, assignments, and start dates will vary based on project needs. Responsibilities: Support disaster survivors and individuals affected by emergencies. Provide information, referrals, and assistance with available resources and services. Assist with intake, case management, documentation, and follow-up activities. Coordinate with government agencies, nonprofit organizations, and community partners. Maintain accurate records and documentation. Support sheltering, recovery, or other human services operations as assigned. Perform other duties consistent with the position and project requirements. Requirements Experience in human services, social services, case management, emergency management, disaster response, or a related field. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and in high-pressure environments. Strong organizational and documentation skills. Ability to work flexible schedules and travel within the assigned area as project needs require.
