Are you an experienced Quality Inspector or manufacturing professional who enjoys helping others, solving problems, and keeping work organized?
TFT Global Inc. is looking for a Quality Team Leader to provide hands-on leadership to a team of Quality Inspectors. This is a great opportunity for someone who is ready to take the next step into leadership while still working directly with the team on the floor.
You don't necessarily need years of management experience. We're looking for someone who understands quality, communicates well, can train and guide others, and is ready for more responsibility. The position provides hands-on supervision of assigned Inspectors, employee training, quality-related documentation, data review, competency reviews, and customer communication.
What You'll Do
As a Quality Team Leader, you'll:
Provide hands-on leadership and daily direction to Quality Inspectors
Train Inspectors on work instructions, quality expectations, and job requirements
Prepare and communicate work instructions
Help set up work cells and maintain 5S and organized work areas
Review quality and production data
Support accurate timekeeping for assigned employees
Participate in new employee orientation and training
Provide input for employee performance evaluations
Complete competency reviews for Inspectors
Communicate with customer representatives when needed
Support ISO procedures, continuous improvement, safety, and quality requirements
Help ensure work is performed safely, accurately, and according to customer expectations
Requirements
We're especially interested in candidates with quality inspection or manufacturing experience who are ready to grow into a lead role.
Ideal candidates will have:
Experience in quality inspection, quality control, manufacturing, production, automotive, warehouse, or a related environment
Experience training, mentoring, guiding, or supporting coworkers
Strong communication skills
Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to follow and explain work instructions and procedures
Basic computer skills and the ability to learn job-related systems and scanners
Familiarity with 5S, ISO procedures, or continuous improvement is a plus
Ability to work effectively with employees and customers
Flexibility to meet changing customer and operational needs
