Primary Location: United States (US) - Georgia  - McDonough, GA   Function: Factory Engineering (CA) Title: Industrial Engineer - 124543   Onsite/Remote: Onsite Position Your Responsibilities As an Industrial Engineer for John Deere Parts Distribution Center  located in McDonough, GA, you will:  Perform analysis of medium to large datasets to identify facility optimization opportunities, support decision-making, and prioritize project execution.   Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conduct detailed analyses supporting facility optimization, network design, and capacity planning initiatives.   Lead and execute projects involving warehouse layout design and storage solutions that align with operational requirements and business objectives.   Partner with vendors and suppliers (racking, material handling equipment, labor, etc.) to develop solutions, obtain quotations, navigate procurement processes, and ensure successful project implementation.   Support and execute initiatives that improve key warehouse performance metrics related to safety, quality, productivity, and operational efficiency.   Provide engineering support for warehouse automation systems, equipment, and processes to drive reliable and efficient operations.  VISA Sponsorship is NOT available for this position  What Skills You Need 2 or more years of project management experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, distribution, or industrial environment.   2 or more years of experience analyzing medium to large datasets using advanced Microsoft Excel functions and tools.   2 or more years of experience creating and modifying 2D facility layouts and designs using AutoCAD.   Strong communication and collaboration skills with experience leading cross-functional teams, including frontline and shop floor employees, to solve complex business challenges.
