In this role you will coordinate the delivery and improvement of infrastructure services across datacenter and workplace environments for a large enterprise client. You will work closely with the client's technology teams and external service providers, oversee delivery activities, manage risks and dependencies, and make sure services meet agreed operational and security requirements. This position suits a hands on delivery manager with a strong technical grounding who is comfortable holding suppliers to account.
Responsibilities
Infrastructure Delivery: Coordinate delivery across datacenter infrastructure, server and workstation operating systems, and workplace platforms.
Identity & Endpoint Management: Oversee delivery activities for Active Directory and Microsoft Intune, including identity, device management and endpoint configuration.
Vulnerability & Patching: Coordinate remediation and patching with technical teams, tracking progress, exceptions and overdue actions.
Supplier Performance: Manage delivery against agreed commitments, service levels and priorities, escalating issues and driving corrective actions with external providers.
Incident, Major Incident & Problem Management: Support coordination, communication and follow through, and work with technical teams on root causes to reduce recurring incidents.
Change & Operational Readiness: Coordinate infrastructure changes, making sure planning, approvals and handover into support are in place.
Planning & Reporting: Maintain delivery plans, risk and dependency logs, and clear status reporting for stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement: Drive improvements across infrastructure services and supplier delivery.
Qualifications
Experience: Proven background in infrastructure delivery or infrastructure service management within a complex enterprise environment.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of datacenter infrastructure and its operational dependencies, plus working knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft Intune, and server and workstation operating systems.
Workplace & Endpoint: Experience supporting enterprise workplace platforms and endpoint services.
Security Operations: Experience coordinating vulnerability management, patching and remediation.
