Job Title: Infrastructure Engineer Location: Leeds, this position will be based wholly on-site,  due to the secure nature of the role we are unable to offer hybrid working What you’ll be doing Designing, deploying and optimising secure infrastructure solutions across multiple environments. Leading technical delivery and providing engineering expertise on complex projects. Developing automation and scripting solutions to improve operational efficiency. Acting as an escalation point for complex technical incidents and problem resolution. Supporting architecture, service evolution and continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborating with security, business and supplier teams to ensure secure and resilient service delivery. Producing and maintaining technical documentation, designs and operational procedures. Coaching and mentoring engineers to enhance team capability and engineering standards. Your skills and experiences Strong experience with Windows and Linux operating systems. Expertise in VMware virtualisation technologies. Knowledge of VDI, networking, storage and backup technologies. Experience designing secure, scalable and resilient infrastructure solutions. Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills. Automation and scripting experience. Understanding of cyber security principles within secure environments. Experience working within Agile and ITIL frameworks.
