Position Description: Source new Low Voltage, Voice, Data & Fiber Optic Cabling sales opportunities along with Audio/Visual and IT Installation sales opportunities nationally for the Installation Department on a daily basis. General Duties and Responsibilities: Source new Cabling/Audio Visual sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails. Understand customer needs and requirements. Formulate solutions, produce accurate and timely estimates then follow up with prospective clients. Close sales and achieve monthly quotas. Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest. Maintain and expand the company’s database of prospects. Set up and deliver sales presentations, product/service demonstrations, and other sales actions. Assist in creating RFP responses to potential clients. Where necessary, support marketing efforts such as trade shows, exhibits, and other events. Make outbound follow-up calls to existing clients via telephone and email cross-sell and up-sell. Handle inbound, unsolicited prospect calls and convert into sales. Overcome objections of prospective customers. Emphasize product/service features and benefits, quote prices, discuss credit terms, and prepare sales order forms and/or reports. Enter new customer data and update changes to existing accounts in the corporate database. Attend periodic sales training where applicable. Other duties as assigned. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) CRM Database Operation General phone skills Organized Personal Traits and Characteristics: Reliable, dependable, diligent Highly organized with good time management skills Task oriented Attention to detail Able to work under pressure and deadlines Ability to multi-task and prioritize Effective communication skills The successful candidate shall exhibit a sense of ownership, urgency, be solution orientated, collaborative and accountable. Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or equal College – 2 years + 2 years previous sales experience Reports To: Director of Sales – INC Installation Sales Physical Job Requirements: Frequently remains in a stationary position and occasionally moves about the office or worksite to access files, supplies, or attend meetings.
