In this role, you will support Gas Control and Operations by designing, developing, commissioning, and troubleshooting automation and control systems. You will provide technical leadership for programmable logic controllers, measurement systems, plant operational technology systems, industrial control networks, operator workstations, and SCADA interfaces. You will also help implement automation and controls governance and support the continued sustainment of Automation and Controls systems. Bring your automation, controls, and field operations expertise to a collaborative team responsible for strengthening the reliability, maintainability, and performance of critical natural gas infrastructure!

What You Will Do:
Design, develop, build, commission, and troubleshoot automation and control systems, including programmable logic controllers and gas measurement systems.
Support plant-level operational technology systems, including HMI software, HMI servers, operator workstations, and industrial control system networks.
Support existing and new SCADA interfaces to automation and control systems.
Design and update process control flow diagrams, piping and instrumentation diagrams, and control panel drawings.
Apply requirements for hazardous electrical locations, including NFPA 70 requirements and intrinsically safe wiring practices.
Troubleshoot and maintain electronic and pneumatic control systems this includes supporting Gas Control and Operations by resolving automation and controls issues submitted through the ticketing system.
Who You Are:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field and 4 years of experience OR six plus years of previous field operations experience. An equivalent combination of formal education and relevant experience will also be considered.
Experience designing and troubleshooting industrial control systems.
Advanced proficiency with computers and engineering or industrial software applications.
You can coordinate work performed by field technicians, contractors, vendors, and multidisciplinary business partners.
You can provide technical direction and communicate complex automation and controls concepts in clear, practical terms.
Role requires a valid driver’s license, which will be verified with a motor vehicle check prior to hire.
Working Conditions:
50% office based and 50% field based.
