Total Compensation & Benefits Pay Rate: $36.53 - $50.24 per hour Eligible for Annual Incentive Bonus Stock Purchase Plan 3 Weeks Vacation Health Care Benefits + $600 Health Care Spending Account Employee Engagement Events (Employee BBQ’s and lunches, weekly treat day, etc.) Employee Development Programs Major Duties We are hiring for multiple Mechanical Design Engineering positions as part of our continued team growth and project expansion.  We have new opportunities for experienced professionals to contribute to innovative, high-impact projects.  In this role, you will design, analyze, and oversee the creation and implementation of mechanical systems and components; ensuring compliance with standards, collaborating with various stakeholders, and maintaining documentation and safety protocols. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES Perform engineering calculations for machine and tool designs, including strength, speed, horsepower, temperature, pressure, and force. Analyze engineering drawings and specifications to determine shape, dimensions, and hardness for equipment, processes, and products. Assess the feasibility of using multiple machines for sequential operations. Create working and detail drawings, and bills of materials using AutoCAD and Solid Works. Ensure designs comply with applicable standards (e.g., OSHA, CE). Review drawings for accuracy, material selection, machining techniques, finishes, and hardness. Liaise with customers, in-house technical staff, and vendors for technical information and specifications. Communicate design changes and task progress to the Manager, Mechanical Engineering, and supervising designer. Formalize and update drawing documentation. Create drawings of existing tooling using precision measuring devices. Supervise mechanical design efforts on a project level, delegating tasks to team members. Organize project documentation, including quotes, drawing registers, correspondence, requisitions, drawings, and schedules.
