CIMA+ is seeking to hire an Intermediate Road Safety Engineer to support our expanding traffic and safety practice in Ontario. You will have the opportunity to broaden your experience by being exposed to many aspects of road safety, including Vision Zero planning, road safety data collection and processing, network screening, roadway and railway safety reviews, research and literature reviews, and public and stakeholder consultation. Ongoing training is offered to allow you to continually upgrade your skills. The opening is available in any of our southern Ontario offices – Burlington, Kitchener, Mississauga, Toronto, Guelph, London, Bowmanville or Ottawa.  Responsibilities Work closely with senior technical staff to develop high-quality and technically accurate end products, Conduct site visits, field observations and field measurements, Conduct data collection and processing in support of road safety initiatives, Communicate with Clients and other team members, Undertake research and literature reviews in concurrence with various projects, Conduct statistical analysis in support of road safety modelling, Conduct public and stakeholder engagement, Prepare Technical Reports, proposals, and presentations, and Other duties as assigned. 5+ years of progressive experience in Road Safety. 4-year Civil Engineering degree  Professional Engineering (PEO)  Knowledge of OTM Books, TAC/MTO Design Guides, MUTCDC, HCM, HTA. Proficient with traffic analysis software (Synchro/SimTraffic, HCS). Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite of products. Valid Driver’s license and access to a vehicle are assets.
