This individual will work closely with electrical, mechanical, software, and test engineers to develop innovative products and technologies while supporting both new product development and sustaining engineering activities. The intern will contribute to laboratory testing, data analysis, circuit evaluation, prototype development, and documentation in accordance with medical device design control requirements. Exact dates depend on school calendars. Major Areas of Accountability Assist in the design, development, testing, verification, and validation of electrical and electromechanical medical device systems in accordance with applicable regulatory standards. Participate in hands-on problem solving and resolution. Utilize laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, multimeters, data acquisition systems, and environmental test equipment to evaluate product performance. Create and maintain good records of lab work and test results related to assigned projects.
