Sneak preview of your future tasks
The role contributes as a technical expert within cross-functional development projects involving infotainment platform evolution, operating system migrations, and integration activities. Projects typically involve multiple development teams, cross-platform dependencies, and integration with vehicle software components. The role is expected to lead technical workstreams related to logging architecture and diagnostics infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain logging infrastructure for embedded systems.
Transition of existing logging infrastructure from openembedded (yocto) to AAOS.
Integrate and ensure compatibility with QNX-based systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to embedded systems and logging.
Optimize system performance and reliability.
Your Profile
Qualifications Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
Extensive experience in C++ software development
Strong knowledge of embedded Linux systems
Experience with Android Automotive OS
Experience with QNX operating systems
Knowledge of Yocto/OpenEmbedded development
Experience with software debugging and diagnostics tools
Knowledge of C, CMake, Python, and GDB
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Language Skills Fluent English, German is a plus
Availability You are currently based in or willing to relocate to Berlin.
You are available for 20 hours/week or 40 hrs /week!
