The Program
At Novo Nordisk, interns will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced industry professionals and gain valuable, hands-on, full-time work experience. For ten weeks, interns will be immersed in the environment of a global pharmaceutical company and contribute to the line of business by providing sustainable and meaningful project work. Our internship program also includes instructor-led trainings, a leadership engagement series, as well as insightful lunch and learns.

Program End: July 23, 2027
Scope of Position
The Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Engineer Intern will support site environmental, health, and safety initiatives to strengthen operations and ensure regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities include collecting and analyzing EHS data, assisting with the update and maintenance of procedural documentation, supporting EHS training programs, and contributing to process improvement efforts. The intern will also help advance sustainability initiatives and support adherence to applicable environmental and safety regulations across the site.
In addition, where applicable, the intern will support Process Safety Management (PSM) activities by applying engineering technical skills to develop process maps and draft technical summaries. The intern will participate in process hazard analysis efforts and contribute to enhancing chemical safety across the site.
Physical Requirements
0% overnight travel required.
Qualifications
Pursuing an undergraduate degree.
Engineering, Environmental Science, and/or Occupational Safety majors preferred.
Must be a rising junior, or rising senior with a 3.0 GPA or above.
Excellent computer skills to include Proficiency in Excel, Word & familiarity/capability in most other Microsoft Office applications.
