Rentex provides our clients with the highest quality rental equipment for their events. This requires both operational excellence and technical expertise. This dual focus is reflected in our two-sided organizational structure. The Quality Control department is focused on the quality of the rental products; Operations works on warehousing, trucking, inventory, logistics, shipping, and receiving.
The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for inventory management at the local branch. This includes recurring weekly tasks, monthly cycle counts, and biannual full inventory. Though the Inventory Coordinator is not directly involved in fulfilling client orders, this role serves the daily business of the company, and ensures future success.

Job Functions:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Preparing New Assets
40%
Receive new rental inventory and confirm it is what was ordered.
Make equipment rental ready according to Rentex protocols.
Inventory Assurance
50%
Cyclical inventory as required by Rentex policy.
Answering inventory inquiries from other Rentex locations.
Regular counts and reorder of non­assetized items such as lamps, toner, etc.
Audits to ensure physical inventory matches reported inventory.
Assurance of complete kits for rental products that have companion products. Reacquire assets when required.
Creatively resolve urgent inventory issues so that client orders can be fulfilled.
Recommend inventory related company improvements.
Manage biannual company inventory for the local branch.
Collaborate with National Asset Coordinator to resolve problems and reallocate resources.
Leadership

Set an example for other employees and build up the team.
Actively contribute to the warehouse leadership team and regularly communicate with managers and supervisors.
Share with other supervisors and managers the on call and weekend responsibilities.
