ABOUT INVENTORY COORDINATOR AT ROCKET LAB
Rockets don't get built without the right parts. As Rocket Lab's Inventory Coordinator, you'll manage thousands of components and hundreds of orders, delivering them just-in-time to the teams who need them.
You'll help Operations hit daily and weekly production targets, adapt quickly when priorities shift, and champion DIFOT (Delivery in Full, On Time) performance. If you thrive on precision, pace, and problem-solving, this is your chance to play a hands-on role in space.
WHAT YOU’LL GET TO DO:
Receive and manage stock: Receipt inwards goods and manage FIFO stock rotation in line with our SOPs
Keep inventory accurate: Complete daily cycle counts, resolve discrepancies, and make sure our ERP system (LN) matches what's on the shelf
Fuel production: Deliver components, kits, Kanban, and raw materials to the shop floor on time and in line with production priorities
Pick, pack, and dispatch: Get orders out the door quickly and accurately, and complete logistics runner tasks
Keep things running smoothly: Maintain a clean, organized warehouse using 5S principles, and work with other teams to clear bottlenecks
Deliver great service: Be a friendly, professional point of contact for walk-up customers
YOU'LL BRING THESE QUALIFICATIONS:
2+ years in a stores, warehouse, or inventory role within a manufacturing environment
Experience with ERP systems and the ability to pick up new ones quickly
Sharp attention to detail and a highly organized, methodical approach
Confidence working independently and juggling shifting priorities under tight deadlines
Strong communication skills and a knack for building great working relationships
A proactive, team-first attitude, with flexibility to work extra hours when needed
THESE QUALIFICATIONS WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE:
Experience handling both inwards and outwards goods
Hands-on experience with stock management and quality control processes
A background in aerospace, aviation, or automotive industries
