Are you ready to champion quality and lead the charge in delivering top-notch software products? We're on the lookout for a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Engineer to oversee our quality assurance activities. Your mission: ensure our software products are nothing short of exceptional! With a strong background in QA methodologies, test automation, and team leadership, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies, enhance QA processes, and support the delivery of scalable and reliable systems. Location : UK, (talk to us about flexible working) The day to day:
Define, develop, and implement comprehensive QA strategies and processes to ensure high-quality product releases.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, development, and operations to align on quality objectives.
Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for various products and features.
Identify, document, and track defects and issues, working closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
Identify and implement test automation opportunities to streamline processes.
Report on QA metrics and provide actionable insights to improve product quality.
Continuously improve QA processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in quality assurance and testing.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory and industry standards.
What we need from you
Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.
Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
