Key Responsibilities Directly manage and support a team of data engineers, DBAs and BI developers, including workload balancing, career development, and performance conversations Act as the first point of escalation for technical blockers, cross-team dependencies, and prioritization conflicts Partner with stakeholders across the business to translate data and reporting needs into team priorities Enable and guide the team to build and mature key data management functions such as data integration, database management, data lifecycle management, data quality management, and master data management. Evolve data pipeline architecture standards, data-stack and BI tooling strategy, and data quality practices in partnership with Data Architect and senior ICs Own hiring, onboarding, and team structure decisions for your group Shield the team from noise and churn so they can do focused, high-quality work Represent the data management function in leadership discussions, bringing forward team input rather than dictating from the top down Required Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent practical experience in data engineering roles 5+ years in data engineering/BI,…
