IT Support Technician – Site Systems The Support Technician will be joining the IT team in a Microsoft-centric environment. The position will involve assisting TerraPower users and external contractors in Kemmerer, WY with setup and troubleshooting of desktop applications and technologies, including specialized engineering software, Microsoft Office365, laptop hardware, networking appliances and peripherals. Candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be available for after-hour support, while maintaining strong and professional customer service. Additional designated work will be primarily determined based on level of experience, areas of interest, and strengths in background and work history. This position is based on the site of an active, live construction project and carries a broader scope of technical ownership and autonomy than a typical desktop support role. The successful candidate will work closely with on-site leadership to translate a wide range of emerging and often loosely defined technical needs — spanning network infrastructure, connectivity, security systems, and specialized software — into practical solutions.
